Case for an Angel has an eight metre wingspan and echoes many works in The British Museum Collection including the Assyrian Winged Bulls . Thanks to ZCZ Films and The British Museum for the use of the video clip which was originally made for the Statuephilia exhibition in 2009.

"The British Museum is a laboratory of possibility for any creative mind. It is filled with objects that reach across time and touch us intimately. Seeing as a child the great head of Ramesses and the Assyrian winged bulls at the British Museum was what made me become a sculptor." Antony Gormley.

The young people featured in clip 2 are visit ingthe British Museum for the first time to see Case for an Angel 1, during the Statuephilia exhibition in 2009. They also viewed the Assyrian winged bulls. The pupils featured are Yr6 pupils from a Lancashire school . This clip is designed to reflect their reaction to the work of Antony Gormley and provoke discussion about his inspiration for the work Case for an Angel 1.

Field for the Britsh Isles was assembled by Longside and Hayward Gallery staff and volunteers.  

Young people from a Wakefield school visited the exhibition to dicuss Antony Gormleys work Field for the British Isles.
