You are watching a live stream of The Big Face coming to life in the Great Hall at Lancaster University.
The Big Face design has been created by artist Louise Bradley. Today Louise is helping 100 children from local schools to scale up the design so that each individual self-portrait sent in by school children from across Cumbria and Lancashire represents a pixel on the giant image. When The Big Face is complete you will be able to zoom in to see the individual self-portraits - however as there are more than 6,000 it might take some time to find your own!
Well done to all those teachers and students who have helped to make this possible, we will be announcing the competition winners on the site after half term.
Please note you will need Windows Media Player to be able
to take part in live watching.
The Big Face is a CLEO (Cumbria
and Lancashire Education Online) initiative and is Artisancam's
contribution to The Big
Draw 2010.
