Artist Suky Best uses a technique called rotoscoping to make her animations which involves drawing over live action video which she films especially for the purpose. We watched her as she made a new animation about birds of prey from the original filming through to adding the sound and a final performance. There are many other ways of making animations and in her influences section Suky visits the National Media Museum to look at early animation machines. |
