Wang Qingsong is a renowned Chinese artist whose works are very close to theatrical productions. We caught up with him as he transformed a real theatre for his latest work and his first in the UK.
Using 300 volunteers, make-up artists, props and lighting Wang Qingsong creates a huge accident and emergency ward in Stage One of Northern Stage, Newcastle upon Tyne.
