This workshop with artist Gemma Cumming from Busy Ape arts shows children from a small rural school creating carnival costumes and put on a perfomance.
It is inspired by Paul McLaren who designs the costumes for his carnival company Shademakers.
He makes kinetic carnival costumes. Elsewhere you can see live watching of Paul McLaren as he creates a nine metre angle costume at the Barraccudas Studio in Barrow in Furness.
This project was funded by Creative Partnerships Cumbria and Creative Partnerships Northumberland.
